Lifesten Health is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Stroke Association of Kenya and the Stowelink Foundation for a community driven health activation taking place on 30 May 2026 in Karen, Nairobi. The “Step Up for Stroke Walk” brings together individuals, families, and health partners in a shared mission to raise awareness on stroke prevention and cardiovascular health.

This initiative is grounded in a simple but urgent reality: most stroke and cardiovascular disease cases are preventable when risk factors are identified early and lifestyle changes are supported consistently. Through this collaboration, Lifesten Health aims to shift prevention from awareness alone to sustained daily action.
A Walk for Everyone, Everywhere
The Move for Prevention Walk is designed to be inclusive. While participants will gather physically in Karen, Nairobi, the impact of the initiative extends far beyond the event location. Through the Lifesten Health app, a digital walk challenge will run alongside the physical event, allowing anyone, anywhere in Kenya and beyond, to participate.
Users can join the challenge by tracking their daily steps, competing in friendly leaderboards, and contributing to a collective national movement for cardiovascular health. This ensures that even those who cannot attend in person can still be part of the journey toward better health outcomes.
Turning Movement into Meaningful Prevention

Physical activity remains one of the most powerful tools for reducing the risk of stroke and other non communicable diseases. However, sustaining behavior change requires more than information. It requires structure, accountability, and community.
Through the Lifesten platform, participants will be able to:
- Join the official “Step Up for Stroke Walk” challenge
- Track steps and daily activity
- Engage in community leaderboards and motivation systems
- Learn practical prevention insights throughout the campaign
This approach combines behavioral science with digital health tools to make prevention measurable, engaging, and continuous.
A Shared Mission for Healthier Communities
The Stroke Association of Kenya brings deep expertise in stroke awareness, survivor support, and community education. The Stowelink Foundation contributes its long standing work in public health advocacy and youth driven health innovation. Lifesten Health contributes its preventive digital health platform, behavioral tracking tools, and population health insights.
Together, the partnership reflects a shared belief that health systems must move earlier, closer to communities, and become more proactive in preventing disease before it occurs.
