Showcasing African Health Innovation on a Global Stage

Lifesten Health recently participated in the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi as part of the Africa AI Village.

The summit, held from February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam Stadium, brought together global leaders, researchers, and innovators working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and social impact.

Representing Rwanda and African Innovation

Lifesten Health was represented by co founder and CEO Ogweno Stephen, who participated in the Africa AI Village alongside innovators from across the continent.

The initiative was organized by Qhala in partnership with UNDP and several African and Indian institutions. Its goal was to highlight Africa as a serious contributor to the global AI ecosystem.

More than twenty startups from fifteen African countries showcased practical AI solutions addressing challenges in healthcare, agriculture, finance, and climate.

Conversations Beyond Technology

The Africa AI Village welcomed thousands of visitors and government delegations, including representatives from Kenya and other African countries.

Beyond the exhibition space, Lifesten Health also participated in strategic side events including the Global South AI Research Colloquium held at the JW Marriott Hotel. The gathering brought together researchers and innovators to explore AI solutions grounded in local realities.

For Lifesten Health, the summit reinforced the importance of building technologies that are not only innovative but also accessible and relevant to communities.

AI for Preventive Healthcare

Lifesten Health continues to explore how artificial intelligence can support preventive healthcare by helping individuals understand their health risks earlier and make informed lifestyle decisions.

Participating in the summit highlighted the growing global interest in AI solutions that address real world challenges in health systems.
