We are proud to announce that Lifesten Health has been selected to join the prestigious Commonwealth Startup Fellowship, a global program that supports high-potential startups driving social impact across low- and middle-income countries. Representing Lifesten Health in this fellowship is our Co-Founder and CEO, Ogweno Stephen, who continues to champion innovation in preventive healthcare across Africa.

About the Commonwealth Startup Fellowship
The Commonwealth Startup Fellowship is a six-month accelerator designed to elevate transformative ventures from across the Commonwealth. The fellowship combines immersive learning, mentorship, and international exposure to help founders scale their impact.
The program begins with an intensive two-week bootcamp in Accra, Ghana, followed by months of mentorship and virtual masterclasses led by top industry experts and academic partners such as Imperial College London. The experience culminates in a capstone event in London, where the most promising startups showcase their solutions to global investors and innovation leaders.

Why This Matters for Lifesten Health
At Lifesten Health, our mission is to democratize preventive healthcare by combining AI-powered transdermal optical imaging (TOI) and gamified wellness challenges to help users track, understand, and improve their health.
Our technology allows anyone to analyze key health indicators—like blood pressure and stress index—in under 30 seconds using only a smartphone camera. Combined with personalized challenges, points, and rewards, the Lifesten app turns health improvement into an engaging daily experience.

Over the past year, we’ve:
- Partnered with the Rwandan Ministry of Health to screen over 1.6 million people for noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).
- Engaged thousands of users through our wellness app, offering daily health challenges and rewards.
- Expanded partnerships with fitness centers, nutritionists, and mental health providers to build a holistic wellness ecosystem.
Through the Commonwealth Startup Fellowship, we aim to:
- Scale our digital health solutions across East Africa and the wider Commonwealth region.
- Refine our business model through mentorship from Imperial College London and the Commonwealth Secretariat.
- Create employment opportunities by training and hiring community health champions.
